From 2002 until 2007, Dr. Andre was Director of Informatics at BodyMedia, where he managed the algorithm development process using billions of minutes of physiological time-series data collected from hundreds of thousands of individuals. In 1996, Dr. Andre co-founded Blue Pumpkin Software where he invented scheduling engines using innovative successive approximation and simulation techniques. Dr. Andre earned B.S. and B.A. degrees from Stanford University and a PhD in AI from U.C. Berkeley, where he was awarded a Hertz Fellowship. In addition to holding numerous patents for his inventions, he is the author of more than 65 peer-reviewed publications in the areas of statistical machine learning, robotics, reinforcement learning, evolutionary computation, and parallel processing.

From 2005 to 2009 Mr. Gann was President and Chief Operating Officer of TrimTabs Investment Research and Managing Partner of TrimTabs Asset Management. At TrimTabs, which provides institutional research on global equity market liquidity, Mr. Gann was responsible for the management of research, sales, marketing, technology and operations. Mr. Gann began his career as a Research Coordinator at the Macroeconomic Research Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, where he built econometric models to forecast GNP, inflation, and interest rates. After obtaining an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 1993, Mr. Gann worked at Bank of America for nine years, starting in Corporate Strategy and Development. In 1998, he was promoted to Senior Vice President of the Asset Management Group, where he advised senior management on various large-scale acquisitions and joint ventures. In 2001, Mr. Gann became a Managing Director and founded the BACAP Alternative Investments Group, the banks first internally managed multi strategy fund of hedge fund group. In 2002, Mr. Gann left Bank of America to join Citadel Investment Group as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development.

Dr. Teller is also a co-founder and Chairman of Zivio Technologies, an intellectual property holding company. Prior to starting BodyMedia, Dr. Teller was co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of Sandbox Advanced Development. Before his tenure as a business executive, Dr. Teller taught at Stanford University and was an engineer and researcher for Phoenix Laser Technologies, Stanford’s Center for Integrated Systems, and The Carnegie Group Incorporated. Dr. Teller holds a BS and an MS, both in computer science and both from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence from Carnegie Mellon University, where he was a recipient of the Hertz Fellowship.

Dr. Leinweber is a financial technologist and former quantitative investment manager for $6 billion in global equity assets, founder of one of the first commercial algo trading firms, and a widely published author and speaker on leading edge technologies for Wall Street. His role at CCI involves taking his experience as an institutional manager and helping with research, portfolio construction processes, and risk control. Dr. Leinweber is Haas Fellow in Finance and founding director of the Center for Innovative Financial Technology at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. David has a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard.

George Mueller co-founded Color Kinetics in 1997 and, serving as Chairman and CEO for eight years, was instrumental in spearheading the company's technical innovation, navigating its growth, and fostering the early adoption of intelligent solid-state lighting. Mr. Mueller recently founded Mueller Ventures, where he serves as Managing Director. He was named Ernst & Young New England Entrepreneur of the Year in 2005, named to Boston Business Journal's Top 40 Under 40 in 2004, and is recognized as a successful and innovative business leader. Mr. Mueller graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a dual major in Electrical and Computer Engineering and minor in Fine Art
